FREE to the Rider Bus Service Begins December 12th!

Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) begins winter operations Dec. 12 with new free to the rider bus service on all routes, extended winter hours on the Truckee local route and new night service connections from North Lake Tahoe to Truckee! TART’s regional routes expand daily services throughout Truckee and North Lake Tahoe with extended night service hours and 30-minute service between Crystal Bay, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Northstar, and Squaw Valley.  Returning again this year: Weekend park and ride service to local ski resorts from both Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, offering guests the option to help reduce congestion, ditch the car and be dropped off right at the base of the slopes.  

Truckee Local Route Now FREE to the Rider!

Beginning July 1, 2018, the Town of Truckee will provide free to the rider bus service on the Truckee TART Local Fixed Route, operating throughout Truckee, Monday – Saturday between 9am and 5pm.

Truckee TART Dial-a-Ride will also provide free to the passenger bus service for ADA certified passengers as of July 1, 2018.
