How does TART Connect Work?
Download the APP and reserve your trip. No app? Just call: (530) 553-0653.
Traveling outside of your zone?
Connect between zones or connect to TART bus service.
Additional Information:
North Lake Tahoe TART Connect allows service animals only. Truckee TART Connect allows well-behaved pets in crates. TART Connect is ADA-accessible.
Those riding with children are required to provide and install any necessary child seats.

Where does Truckee TART Connect Operate?
Truckee TART Connect has one service zone that serves ALL of Truckee!
Dates: Fall service operates from
September 2nd- December 10, 2025
Hours: 6:30 am to 10:00 pm, daily
6:30 pm-10:30 PM TART Connect Truckee will offer night service to Northstar

Where Does North Lake Tahoe TART Connect Operate?
Placer/ Washoe County (North Lake Tahoe) TART Connect operates in five zones:
Zone 1 FREE:
8:00 am–10:00 pm
Tahoe City, Sunnyside, Homewood, Tahoma,
and Carnelian Bay.
Zone 2 FREE:
8:00 am–10:00 pm
Kings Beach, Brockway, Crystal Bay,
Tahoe Vista, and Carnelian Bay.
FARES FOR ZONE 3 STARTING JULY 2025
Zone 3:
4:00 pm–10:00 pm | SUNDAY–THURSDAY
5:00 pm–12:00 am | FRIDAY–SATURDAY
Incline Village and Crystal Bay.
FARES PER RIDE:
Adult/Youth/Senior: $2 Persons with Disabilities: $1
Zone 4 FREE:
6:00 pm–10:00 pm
Olympic Valley and Zones 1 and 2.
Zone 5 FREE:
6:00 pm–10:00 pm
Northstar and Zones 1 and 2.
Dates: Fall service operates from
September 2nd- December 10, 2025
*Beginning at 6pm daily passengers will be able to cross between the Tahoe City and Kings Beach zone without making a request for a second vehicle at Carnelian Bay.
