Sugar Bowl is offering a free public shuttle connecting Truckee to Donner Summit, running daily from Dec 8, 2025 – April 12, 2026. The shuttle makes two morning, one midday, and two afternoon loops, with stops at:
- Sugar Bowl Mt. Judah Lodge
- Donner Ski Ranch
- West End of Donner Lake (old TART stop)
- Cold Stream Rd TART stop (for timed transfers to TART Truckee Local Route)
🚫 Shuttle does not run when Old Hwy 40 is closed.
🎿 Exterior ski storage available.
🐶 No dogs allowed (except service animals).
Schedule
- 7:10am – departure from Cold Stream Rd
- 8am- departure from Cold Stream Rd
- 12:10pm- departure from Sugar Bowl, returning to the summit around 1pm
- 4:10pm- departure from Cold Stream Rd
- 5:10pm- departure from Cold Stream Rd
