Service Alert:

  • Truckee T.A.R.T will be suspending night service to Northstar and Palisades Tahoe.  October 27th, will be the last service provided by Truckee to those sites until the start of our Winter Schedule scheduled for December 15th.
  • Face Covering Update: Until January 18, 2022. Masks will continue to be required on all TART buses and are available on board of vehicles for those that need them.
  • This Fall TART Connect offers night service on the North Shore.
    -Connections between Zone 1 and Zone 2 will be made at Dollar Hill.
    -Connections between Zone 2 and Zone 3 will be made at Stateline in Crystal Bay.
    -Connections between TART Connect on-demand night service and Truckee night service can be made at Palisades Tahoe & Northstar.

This fall TART Connect returns for FREE on-demand night service

It’s simple – just tap, relax and go!

TART Connect offers a FREE and easy way to leave the car behind. TART connect offers curb-to-curb service and connections to TART’s Truckee Night Service. Reserve your trip via the app or phone with a pickup time in 1-hour or less.

When does TART Connect Operate?

This service will operate during the evening, from 6 pm – 10 pm, daily in Zones 1 and 2 and from 6 pm – Midnight, daily in Zone 3.

How will TART Connect Work?

Download the APP, choose a destination in your zone, and you will be picked up in 1-hour or less.

Traveling outside of your zone?

Connections between Zone 1 and Zone 2 will be made at Dollar Hill. Connections between Zone 2 and Zone 3 will be made at Stateline in Crystal Bay.

Connections between TART Connect on-demand night service and Truckee night service can be made at Squaw Valley & Northstar.

Northstar, Brockway, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Crystal Bay.

Additional Information:

-Winter TART Connect service begins December 10- April 10, 8 am-12 am, daily.

-Service animals are allowed on TART Connect. All other pets are not allowed.

-TART Connect vehicles are equipped with bike racks and can carry 2 bikes.

-Per Federal Transit mandates, masks will continue to be required when utilizing public transit until January 18, 2022. Masks will be required on TART Connect.
